Skills & Experience
My portfolio of experiences could perhaps best be summarized as unconventional: from radio sportscasting and production stage management across the United States, to launching the world’s best rewards credit cards, consulting on loyalty programme strategy and working extensively with startup and early stage companies in Asia-Pacific, it’s been a fascinating journey.
Those unconventional experiences created the foundation for my success in business. Managing theatre productions, concerts and tours developed the project and people management skills that propelled me into my post-MBA career with American Express, working on projects as diverse as co-brand card launches, post-acquisition strategic plans, and travel industry partnerships for the Membership Rewards loyalty program.
Being intimately experienced with industries including F&B, security and transport has given the ability to relate to clients in their own language, and live radio equipped me with the confidence to present to any level of an organization and handle the unexpected with poise.
I’ve spent the last 12 years building new ventures, first as founder of my own strategic management consultancy building and optimizing loyalty programmes, and then in scaling a loyalty-tech startup from 40 to 200, followed by launching Singapore’s largest loyalty coalition backed by Temasek and DFI Retail Group.
I’ve worked across industries from luxury retail to airlines, geographies from Leicester to Bangkok, and led projects from initial greenfield strategy conversations to full-scale product launches and long-term program and client management.
When I’m not helping businesses grow, I spend my time with family, books, trail running or travel hacking.
